Definitive IMEI Repair Thread - GSM-Forum

So I have customers interested in IMEI repair, most of which use (newer) HTC phones, and searching for information on successful IMEI repairs on the forum is often very ambiguous: sometimes devs say that IMEI repair isn't supported while some people report it as successful, etc. I read somewhere in one of the posts that one of the devs said to just download the HXC Tool software to see which phones were supported and which weren't (which doesn't work if you don't have a cable!), and looking through the hxcdongle site, no HTC phones are supported for IMEI repair at all, even though there are posts on the forum saying that IMEI repair was completed successfully, etc.

Can we get a definitive listing of HTC phones (preferably the more recent models) that are supported for IMEI repair? And maybe the requisite methods to that repair? Thanks~

I have only ever got it to work on a HTC desire hd after downgradeing.. but it only worked using an old beta hxc software
Best to use different tool
