htc dongle don´t work[Solved] - GSM-Forum

hello to everyone.

I hope to be posting in the right place, otherwise, I request an apology

HTC recently bought the dongle but I have a problem I can not install it, I tried it on 4 different pc with windows xp all, the dongle is installed, an LED lights up blue and red, but when I read the serial number just do not read, stop and locking the pc all night and nothing, just do not read, recently asked my reseller support and suggested I put this post before sending them back to see if there is solution, I hope can help

Did you checked device manager to ensure all drivers were installed

you are using serial no reader 2.0 or 1.0 ?

No, does not create com port the check in device manager, none of the 4 pc's are created by I have installed the drivers

hxc dongle not create any comport etc,it's start card base dongle.

I am using the card reader 1.0

I could not find version 2.0 as the official page the link sends an error

serial no 1.0 have some problem i remove 1.0 from support soon,now you download 2.0 from this link and post result.

thanks for the support, I installed perfectly my htc dongle and the pro tool without any problems, the problem as mentioned Raul-Sharma was the serial reader

if some moderator can close the post I'd appreciate it, subject successfully completed
