Question about HXC Dongle[answered] - GSM-Forum

For change HTC Desire HD imei number, I think I need the hxc dongle.

I am little confused on site, it has hxc unlocker @ $39, this is not the one I need?

I think I need the pack HXC Dongle with Protool inside, that is costs $109.

Is this correct? For change IMEI I need $109 dongle?

Is there cheaper way? I only want change IMEI on one fone, I bought from car boot and is blocked, dont want to waste my money.

Is anyone can do it for me if I live in UK?

For repair imei of desire hd you need desire hd with 2.2 and only dongle...

Hi. Sorry for bump thread. I am ready to make purchase for this today

Only problem is I see some sellers of "Protool Red Standalone" claim it will repair IMEI on my phone.

Will Standalone protool red do repair IMEI on HTC Desire HD phone?

Because it is lot cheaper option, I would like to be sure. I dont mind purchase the dongle+protool for more money. But if standalone Red protool will do job I need then that is what I want. I only need it for one job!

So please for confirmation

HXC Dongle + Green cable (protool) = YES will change imei for htc desire HD

HXC Standalone Protool Red = ??? will change imei for htc desire HD.

Difference in price is 50% so please for make confirmation before I spend my money. Thankyou very much.

I think you already answered me (I need hxc dongle green + protool). I am confused with other sellers that make me believe standalone red protool will do my job also.

as i believe bro.. hxc dongle and protool can do the job...

i did job in past with hxc dongle android 2.2.1

maybe required to do a downgrade but for sure u can do it
