I bought the Z3X Easy-Jtag Plus Full Upgrade Set (Special offer). I inserted a smart card from an old box.
Launched shell: All checkpoints are not available except "Show card info".
Card activated - 2017-08-29
Easy Jtag - activated 2017-08-29
Easy Jtag Plus - NOT available, update possible
Launched EasyJTAG Tool 2.9.0.1 - check software activation or contact support...
How to update the card to use Easy Jtag plus?

Can i use this tool to clone EMMCs from one device to anoter?
I don't repair phones but a variety of devices like automotive DSP, infotainment or security. Newer units run on ARM, OMAP, TEGRA with embedded OS sometimes android, linux, Windows CE or others, many times i encounter "bricked" units due to EMMC or flash corruption (failed updates, power glitches, and so on) i have tools for NAND/ NOR so i was wondering if i could use this tool for EMMC even if not of a Cellphone.

It a JTAG adapter. It use at JTAG tab of software

You always see pinout tabs and see connection type (eMMC or JTAG)

Yep for sure. You can buy additional Z3X activations on Z3X Smart Card.
