What is Android Explorer ?

Android Explorer are tool for browsing Android filesystem (EXT4) from eMMC Dump
or from directly connected eMMC Card or phone PCB!

What a general usage of this tool ?

Android Explorer allow you to extract some imortant data without dumping full image
like a user photos or contacts2.db file. You can extract any other important data
or simple explore android filesystem structure.

Why we need that - we have Ubuntu and VMware or MOORC adapter ?

If you have enough free time to do read 8/16/32/64Gb from eMMC - you can waste it.

How I can get it ?

Just Download EasyJTAG Installer 2.0.0.0 or newer.

What does this have to fix ?

Nothing , tool are in read only mode!

But how connect phone ? ?

Like an any eMMC

Suppoted functions:

ISP connection or full dump browsing

Support EXT2 , EXT3 , EXT4

Extraction single files or group of files

Support GPT disk partitioning ( Samsung Method)

Support MBR disk partitioning ( HTC Method)

In next updates:

Support of NVIDIA / TEGRA / Mediatek partitioning.
Encryption and ACL support for EXT4.
Direct Export Contacts all logs etc in CSV,XLS file.
Recovery Deleted / Corrupted data from EXt4 Journal.

What about the test points.Can we access it from jtag also?.or only through emmc test points.

And you have mentioned about:Support MBR disk partitioning ( HTC Method)

can we repair partitions in htc devices such as htc one m7 which were damaged after easy repair with this file:HTC_ONE_M7_PN0712000_SPL1_56_boot_v1_00

pls elaborate.

It will be the best tool if the remaining functions (Rename, Delete, Import File) will be active. It could be very usefull with Mio Moov navigators, when the usb connection is broken due to AppStartupSec.exe deletion/removation. It is easy to rename back or import the right file and the navigator is back to working via USB connection.

Waiting for next update.

I'm triing to use it but when i try to extract one file (pdf jpg or 3gp), transfer goes well but pc tell me that files is damaged..

or need to connect jtag connection to the emmc to read the data? pls infom?
i have a zte v967s of my friend and he wants the data before flashing the phone to revive it!
