Yes i see little time of this video and this is about COOLPAD E501 ,what is related to samsung? anyway as i know if you have full backup then you write to blank eMMC,You lose imei if you write backup to repaired original eMMC,You lose IMEI if you write any other dump to phone then restore efs modemst1,2 etc from original backup ,You have imei Please note Repaired eMMC it mean update FW,not only format/reset

Just my 2 cents - most Samsung-s will keep and have after eMMC repair / change / own IMEI relative info if you backup important partitions ( even on 000000 name state ) via eMMC connected on reader or ISP with wires, then flash firmware parts on new or repaired eMMC - pit, bootloader, AP, CP, CSC ( via eMMC or cable, or using SD repair or what you like ... ) or just pit, bootloader and boot - and after this put important partitions backups, stored, read initialy from damaged eMMC in own places, if THEY are OK, mean do not affected from eMMC fault, then for sure Samsung unit will be OK back with original IMEI... this is valid till Galaxy S6 for sure! Tested on many i9300 / N7100 / S4 / S4 mini ... WBR, DebeliaMark, BG
