whats the proper way to backup dump ?


as in topic

i see a lot of dump only have 512mb or 1gb .
how do they do so ?

is it by just selecting ROM1 and preset 512mb/1gb ?

sorry if this is a silly question..

You can run EasyJTAG Plus software, and go to Read by vendor tab, and see partitions at device.
You can see lenght of it

i tried .
and what is actually not needed , i mean to untick ?
definitely userdata not needed right ?
i shall read directly and use it as ROM1 ?

look through reading on the vendor, what size is occupied by the partition necessary for loading into the recovery.
