i have 4 pcs of yhis jkm-lx1 all dead by soft
all nand damage no any backup
so i change emms and write all above dump 1 by 1 all ok writing but after yhat phone in fastboot with redlines in it
i dont know i use the same micron 64gb
every thing is ok i talk and try many times
in this condition imean fastboot i use eft to flash fastboot upgrade mode it working fastboot flash then go to upgrade mod automatically then update complate but again in fastboot with red line
i test many firmwares
operation
inset emms in ufi or medusa pro the format it the program nand (have sevral dumps ) then install in board but allways in fastboot mode

to restore new Huawey devices with new eMMC, you need flash ENGINEERING software to it

I do not know full information how it work. But some people flash ENG Board software to repair device

you just need security backup from old emmc and write dump in new emmc then write security backup which you take from old emmc done
no need board firmware, board firmware is use in old chipset like 659 to downgrade device and change security like serial number, bla bla and for huawei id remove and more on

I have one with fully dead emmc so I can’t read the emmc with easy jtag what should I do about security backup???

try to copy from old emmc cid and write on new emmc but you cannot write cid on emmc 1.8 csd you need emmc 1.7 csd

huawei devices not used CID

y9 with a fully dead emmc what kind of information do i need to write on the new emmc?

if emmc totally cant read anymore, any solution for fix this issue?
