Exclamation Dongle problem! --- SOLVED ----

Hi,

I just purchased a GPGWorkshop dongle, and after i installed it, for the first time i encountred this problem (attached photo), the dongle serial number is ok but the firmware version is unavailable. Also when i run the gpgworkshop program it shows an error message.

Please advise.

gpgworkshop 4.0 does not start, hangs in the process

hi
is ok but the firmware version is unavailable - thats mean that dongle is updated

which windows ver do you use?

Hi,
thank you for the reply
I'm using windows xp sp2, and now everytime i open the main program (gpgworkshop) it keeps telling card not found.
I gave it back to the reseller to test it and he encountered same problem, even him couldn't find out what was the problem, then he tested 2 other dongles then he found that even the other dongles show firmware unavailable.

Thank you, but i can't tomorrow, cos i don't have the dongle with me, i returned it to the reseller to check it but he couldn't find out what the problem is! Anyway, before i get it back from the reseller i need to be sure if the problem is only with the drivers and not with the dongle itself.
So is the firmware version unavailable normal or there's something with the dongle?
If it's ok, i'll get it back from the reseller next week then i'll contact you to help with it.

now i tried it on another PC (after i got it back from the reseller yesterday, adn he couldn't find out what to do also) with windows 7 x86, and i'm getting "card not found" error!
I tried to uninstall the drivers, reboot and install them again, but no luck with it, i keep getting the same error can you please help me, it's really urgent i need to use software as soon as possible.
