J7 imei 000000000000000, how to put original? - GSM-Forum

Hi

I have one J7 with imei 00000000.... I tried to unlock it, says Ok then return Simlock. I have CTE software I tried to set IMEI to original: still 0000... Can someone tell me what to do, or give me instruction to use CTE (phone on/off?....)

I make:
1. pw (wap code)
2. power off phone and on
3.SLDefault - Clear all SIMLOCKs
4.FactoryReset
5.writeimei (real phone imei)
6.SLDefault
7.FactoryReset

And phone work fine.

P.S. For pw and writeimei
pw 12345678
writeimei 0x35 0x01 0x77 0x40 0x44 0x01 0x04 0x6

35 01 77 40 44 01 04 6

Hi friend!

Ihave same problem to.
The J7 phone have this imei:
356FC2 F7 201F9F 0
bur first time have allways -0-
I tryed few solution, but can't help it.
I readed old topics and not found new idea.
I would like to please new solution or new link for eeprom repair and unlocking solution via cable, but now the phone still simlock.
After unlock via keybord the state does not change!

yes you need to use sdefault and writeimei command

use the new flasher ans get back nvm area!
you can download from here

I solved my problem, removed leading 0 from wap code and voila
work fine everything.

my problem that i had a sony j7 that have imei 0000 ; i try to repair it using cte => phone imei is ok ;
Phone now is unlocked and have original imei but it can't make a call!!!

when i tried to change some options in the phone menu its says always 'error' ...

help
