J70 failing to make and receive calls - GSM-Forum

Hello,
I have a J70 that cannot complete calls when they have been dialled and cannot receive calls. If it does manage to make a call it cuts out as soon as the call is answered. It can receive text messages but not send them. Does anyone have any ideas how to solve this?

If you are in the UK and Ireland, your phone is barred ie. blocked on all networks, which means it has been lost or stolen. The only way around this is to change the IMEI number, but this is illegal and you'd get 2 years imprisonment even for a 1st offense.

check imei firstly. maybe it damaged

The imei matches the number written inside the phone. It looks like the phone is duff of its own accord.

Mr. syed is right if not software, then it from hardware. which gsm you receive text messages, gsm 900, gsm 1800 ? there is two seperate ic for it.
