Needed : Software for Z1 and Z1Plus

@All

I'm in dismay. Used countless hours on searching the net and boards all around, but I can find absolutly no software for Sony's old classics the Z1 and Z1Plus.

I've gotten a Z1Plus for my collection of old mobiles (Now counting 76 different old mobiles ) and this Z1Plus I've aquired powers up on the screen with all LCD patterns lit(like Nokia), and then it powers down again, does not start in any way.

Does anyone here have software to flash/unlock/repair these old classic sony phones ???

I'm despaerate, also I need correct pinout for this phone !! Furthermore I've read also the service manual, and it seems that theres needed a converter of some sort between PC and Phone, does anybody knows this ??

Please do post your comments and or links if you have.

Any help woul be greatly appriciated.

Regards

You can download flash files and service documentation for z1 and z1plus http://sonydownload.now.nu/ You can unlock those phones only by code or eeprom editing. Soft exists only for sony service.

@GSM Coolhawk

It is good to see that I am now alone

I have 7 old classic Z1/Z1Plus in my collection!

http://hk.geocities.com/haha298/Photo/Z1_tan_2.JPG

I have the flasher and I also have the cable pinouts, but I can't get the flashing works!

Also, unlocking is almost impossible, because there is no software can be found from the Internet!

If you have any solution, please let me know too!

Thanks

@kennyli

Hehe, VERY nice to know I'm not the only one here caring for old classic mobiles

BTW I just increased the collection to 77 mobiles, got a Alcatel HB160 yesterday in mint condition.

Reg. the Sony Z1-Plus, got it to work yesterday, it is brand new and was in box !!! The only thing needed was a cleaning of the system connector which connects the Display board and system board, so now its 100% working, it's really amazing piece of work if you think about when this phone was released !!!!! Years ahead of any competitors.

Reg. the Sony Flasher, I got that too, but could not get it to work ! According to Service Manual it's supposed to be connected to PC via a level converter without battery !!! Thats the only info I got so far, if anybody have more info on this please let us know.

If any one here on the board have "old" mobiles lying around, I will be interested in bying those for a fait price. Also I have many duplets of many models, so if any is interesting in exchaning those give me a mail.

I miss the follwong models for Nokia for a starter, so if any of you have these please let me know.

NHE-2XN
NHE-5SX
NPB-1
NHE-6BM
NHK-6NX

Exceptr the above mentioned models my Nokia Collection of GSM phones are COMPLETE untill DCT4 got released. But there may be others I do not have, if anyone have a complete list of model numbersw released from Nokia I would be interested in that also.

Keep collection out there

Regards

@GSM Coolhawk

I can't use the Z1 flasher too

I want to change one of my Z1 from English to Chinese, but it does not work!

I have more than 300 phones in my collections

My major collections are old models of Nokia, Sony, Ericsson and Siemens!

Here is some of my collection:
