| Removing/Resetting Z5 Security Code Hi I'm try to reset the security code on a Sony Z5. (This code is normally set to 0000 on a new phone). I'm a rather new to this, and know as much as Kylie Minogue's knickers about unlocking. So my apologies if I'm asking simple questions that have answers elsewhere. Can I do this using a standard data cable which connects betwen the phone and the COM serial port of a PC? Or do I need more hardware than this, such as a "universal box". Can anyone help with software? I downloaded the GL3 loader recommended in a previous post. The program prompts for a SRE file and the download came with file name "Flash011.sre" Is this the correct file to unlock a Z5? Or does this prog only flash the phone? Can anyone provide any instructions on using this program? All advice gratefully received. |
