9515 wipe security fail - GSM-Forum

Welcome to Octoplus/Octopus Box Samsung software version 2.2.1

To connect GT-I9515 phone you have to perform the following steps:
1. Disconnect USB cable from phone.
2. Go to Menu->Settings->More->About Device.
3.Tap on "Build number" 7 times to enable developer options.
4. Go to Menu->Settings->More->Developer options.
5. Turn on "USB Debugging" option.
6. Go to dial window.
7. Enter "*#0808#" number.
8. Select "DM+Modem+ADB".
9. Press Home button.
10. Restart phone.
11. Press "Read Info" in software.

Hello.

Please make sure that "DM+Modem+ADB" option is selected in *#0808# menu.

Also, please install the latest Software version

dm+modem+adb is active, also i updated the octocard and the software to the latest version...

Try to use different USB Ports of PC motherboard for connection. Try to perform "Wipe Security" operation on different COM ports with enabled "Manual select" option.

Also flashed 4.4 germany.oct and now phone is stucked on samsung logo, may it be because downgrade from 5.1 to 4.4 and need to flash with pit file ?!

Try to select "DM/DUN over HSIC" option in *#9090# menu, then try to connect the phone again.
