Can't use other box's UART with Octopus

Hey, so I'm trying to repair a N915A with the Octopus box software. It works fine with other UART ports such as my z3x box or SPT box, but it won't work with the UART port from my NSPRO box.

Before you start saying "troubleshoot the basics" here is what I've done:
Phone is set in DM+MODEM+ADB mode in *#0808#
Phone is set to PDA/AP in *#7284#
VF Battery terminal is covered
There is a C3300k cable being used
I'm able to send AT and AT+MSLSECUR=1,0 commands over DFS, so I know the UART port works (drivers are loaded successfully) and the cable is right, but Octopus just fails to write the CERT or even recognize the UART interface.

The lights on the box for Rx and Tx aren't even blinking. I think only the Rx blinks, the Tx doesn't blink at all (or vice versa...)

I tried with the another software, and it repairs the IMEI fine without changing anything. So I know the box, cable, and drivers aren't to blame. Is there anything that I can do to resolve this issue or should I just throw the box into the nearest river?

Hello.

Try to perform "Write cert" operation with test Software version, which we have sent you in PM.

I've tried selecting all the N910 series models. None of them work. It's like as if the software isn't even able to send the AT or AT+FACTORST command to the phone...YET I can send AT commands fine using a terminal:

This makes no sense...if I'm able to talk to it via a terminal the octopus software should definitely work. I'm so mad...(not at the supporters or software but) with these Damn ftdi uart drivers. I'm 99% sure this is the cause of it. The drivers are fine obviously since they work via terminal but they might be conflicting with the octopus software.

This problem indeed may be caused by drivers conflict. Try to completely uninstall FTDI drivers, then install FTDI drivers 2.08.24. Try to perform operation on another, clean (with only necessary drivers and Software) PC.
Also, upload *.log and *.logx files of "Write Cert" operation, we will also check where can be the problem.

Ecs87, I don't think a lot of people would be able to help you out here.... try asking from dest or hellothere777... this is beyond my small brain.... I think it could be the drivers... recently I have been struggling with them... still with usb redirector... I have issues...

I didn't think I'd be able to get much help but I figured it'd be worth a shot lol. It's not a HUGE issue, since the software works with all other FTDI UART interfaces, but I was just wondering why NSPRO was the only interface it doesn't work with...?

I'll try again tomorrow on my G900P with the NSPRO UART interface. The customer couldn't wait so I just used the other softwares.
