Factory unlock Note 3 N900A AND N900T [Solved]


Im trying to do a factory unlock to a note 3 n900a but the box doesnt read the phone thru the aurt cable?

i reinstall all the drivers again and still doesnt read the phone.

any ideas?

Take the battery out the phone, wait a few seconds, throw it back in, boot the phone up with the UART cable, try again. (Phone may need to be in DM+MODEM+ADB mode in *#0808?)

already tried all that.. the box wont read any phone thru uart cable. i just tried to fix a s4 imei and it wont read either.

When booted from the UART cable dial *#7284# make sure it's on PDA. Not MODEM. Also (stupid) question: are you sure you're selecting the right port (is COM9 the octopus box UART port)?

Correct.

I only have been able to use the uart cable connect to another box and unlocking a note 3 (super imei)

There might be a hardware issue with your box then. That's all the troubleshooting I can think of! (As long as you can still see all of your build versions for baseband and system in settings; they're not "unknown").

yes .. my octopus box uart connector is damaged.. it never worked and im out of warranty

i just used my other box.. i connected it directly to the octopus box usb port and i used the other box uart port and it worked !
