g920f reset screen lock problem [Solved] - GSM-Forum

I have g920f with broken (not working) fingerprint that is activated. I need to unlock it but don't remember alternative password. Tried reset screen lock option but still not accepting password
any suggestion?

Hello.

Try to make Factory Reset and Wipe cache partition from Recovery Mode, then repeat "Reset Screen Lock" operation.
Post here the result.

Point of this bypass is not to lose data. I need data from this phone. I could do wipe and factory reset than reset screen lock option would be pointless.

Please upload *.log and *.logx files of "Reset Screen Lock" operations to any file-sharing service and post here download link. We will check what might cause the problem
*.log and *.logx files can be found in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Octoplus\Octoplus_Samsung\LOG" folder.

Thanks to Octopus support i managed to bypass fingerprint and alternative password on g920f. It's all ok now...I saved all data thanks to octopus support. Here is log :
