does anyone know how to unlock this model? or any know root i can make to try it, i cant find any root method for this model thanks in advance guys.

Hello.
Please read attentively Software manual ("Help" button in Software) how to perform "Unlock" procedure.

1. Install necessary driver.
2. Write the special firmware "SGH-T399_for_Unlock_and_Repair_IMEI" from the Support Area.
3. Reboot the phone.
4. Connect powered on phone to PC via Micro USB cable.
5. Click "Unlock" button.
6. Follow software instructions (prompts), don't forget to press "Allow" button on the phone every time when superuser dialog appears.
7. Post here full Software log with all of your actions.

on the octopus software when i choose the sgh-T399 model and click on help, it says on a little box cant find help file for this phone model. do you want to download this file online? and it doesnt download anything and when i go to the support and options tab i click go to support and search for the t399 software and i cant find the SGH-T399_for_Unlock_and_Repair_IMEI the only file i can see is this one T399UVUAMJ4_T399UVUAMJ4_T399UVUAMJ4_T399UVUAMJ4.oc t

1. Install the latest Software version (Octopus Box Downloads - Software, Drivers, Manual).
2. All special firmwares You can download from the folder "Samsung/FOR UNLOCK AND REPAIR/" on the Support Area - just press "Go to Support" button at "Support & Options" tab in Software.

ok ive downloaded the correct file for this model, when i try to write the firmware it says i have to disable knox security, im lost with that is there a post or something that leads me on how to disable that option?

Yes, You need to connect the phone via Samsung Micro UART C3300k/C3303k cable on this step:

Try to make Factory data reset, wipe cache partition and repeat the UNlock operation again. Try to use another Samsung Micro UART cable. Also, try to root the phone by using another rooting Software/exploit.

Try to re-flash the phone with the firmware from the Support Area again, use previous rooting Software to root the phone and try perform Unlock operation again.

Try to use another Samsung Micro UART C3300k/C3303k cable with 523-525 kOhm resistor indside (the problem can be with your cable). Also try to use another Box as UART interface (maybe, the problem is with Box COM port).

When Software prompts, that You need to connect the phone via UART - You need to connect the phone first and only then press "OK" button.

To root the latest firmware versions download this TWRP file
Downloading...

Put the phone in download mode by holding VolDown + Home + Power.

In Odin AP/PDA select the above file and uncheck "Reboot" so that the recovery sticks.

Remove and reinsert the battery, hold VolUp + Home + Power and release all keys at the Samsung logo.

Flash SuperSU either from SDCard or sideload from
SuperSU Download
