Member: 2248907 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 4 | has anyone actually unlocked a N900V succesfully? I've unlocked and repaired IMEI to service IMEI. phone kept losing it's network connection and reverted to original carrier. i noticed the network bar was consistently low. data is fine, I'm just unable to make calls. I've tried changing apn settings the normal way and manually removing original carrier settings in /etc/apns-conf.xml and replacing with another.. nothing worked. If you unlocked this phone successfully with working voice calls for longer than a week, please advise me . |

Install the latest Software version (Software). 2. Take out SIM and SD cards from the phone. 3. Re-flash the phone. 4. Make Factory data reset and wipe cache partition. 5. Make Wipe Security. 6. Write this QCN file (check your PM, we have sent You QCN file). 7. Write Cert for SN-N900 (check your PM, we have sent You several Cert files). 8. Post here full Software log with al of these actions. |

Member: 2203633 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 6 | I purchased an Octupus Box because I heard it fixes the n900v with no problems, but that was with the old software version 1.6.6. Does anyone have a link to the 1.6.6. software. I don't have the cert or qcn files to use with this new software. Thanks. |

Member: 2203633 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 6 | I will try with new software. Thanks. The cert file you pm'd says N900, will that work for the n900v? Yes n900v is factory unlocked but service imei/esn is blocked. spt box changed imei, but no network, so I bought the octopus box, hoping it can fix the network.
