Hello.

You should use "Domestic Unlock" operation. This operation will unlock Sprint phones for use with any other US GSM Carrier.
Phone must be rooted in order to perform the operation.

Currently we don't have special root solution for SM-G920P. You can try to root the phone with CF Auto Root.

Please check whether GSM/(E)GPRS/WCDMA GCF is turned on in your phone:

1. Open hidden menu. There are two ways of doing it:

1) Run the following command via ADB:
Code:
adb shell su -c "am broadcast -a android.provider.Telephony.SECRET_CODE -d android_secret_code://IOTHIDDENMENU"

2) Perform the following actions:
1. Dial *#0011# and in the service menu do the following.
2. Click "Menu" then "Key input" then input Q then press "Ok".
3. Click "Menu" then "Back".
4. Click "Menu" then "Key input" then input 0000 then click "Ok".

2. After these steps Hidden menu should open. In Hidden menu, depending on available options, try to do the following:

I.
  • Press UMTS
  • Press DEBUG SCREEN
  • Press PHONE CONTROL
  • Press NETWORK CONTROL
  • Set GCF to ON

II.
  • Press [2] UE SETTING & INFO
  • Press [1] SETTINGS
  • Press [4] GCF
  • Set [1] GSM/(E)GPRS/WCDMA GCF to ON

After these actions go to Settings -> Mobile Networks and Set Network Mode to Automatic, or GSM.

do this first
1. get the spc/msl with gcprokey for an unknown reason the gcprokey get the spc/msl from android 6 but not on android 5.1.1

2. make a downgrade to android 5.1.1

3 in settings get the menu activate this device on the menu press two times volume up and 3 times volume down you will get a menu with choices...select th one that says ##rtn## press reset enter the msl/spc you get

4. when the process finish you will get your phone debrading you need to reconnect to gcprokey and unlock it again ....

5. this fix prevent the phone to get updates from sprint and by the way is a fix for the no signal issue

any questions post it here

this will erase sprint logo for good

then root the phone using this cf autoroot

CF autoroot download

opcion 1 ()if your not in the USA use bootom fast unlock
opction 2 ()if will use it in USA use Unlock Domestic
