[help]galaxy s5 repair imei

Hi, I'm helping the guy that will repair my Galaxy S5 SM-G900M IMEI because he don't know how to do it. He have the 2.0.0 octoplus software, octopus box. I'm not expert and just wanna change my IMEI.

I don't know what is the ceritification file I need to write. We made the "Repair Security/Wipe Security" process and then what file i need to put in the "Write Certificate"? It's a file that software provides? what's part of the process I will write the new IMEI (like 1234567890000)? or I can't write the IMEI I want?

Sorry the bad english, please help me. Thanks.

Go to "Support and Options" tab in Octopus box software, then click on " go to support" button, then go to Samsung tab-->unlock and repair--> Certificates and find Your model, then write cert via Octopus software!!!

Hello.

Unfortunately it is not possible to write "any" IMEI for SM-G900M at the moment. After performing a "Write Cert" operation, phone will have IMEI of Cert file, which You've wrote.

Ok, I have another galaxy s5 (same model), How is the process to read the Cert file to transfer to the first one?

Do I just need to press "Read Cert." button?

Currently it is not possible to read Cert files from Qualcomm-based phones.

The last question:

I saw in the compatibility list that SM-G900H and SM-G900M have the same key ID (0478). In fact all SM-G900x have the same key ID.

So.. Can I write a Certificate from a G900H(Exynos) in my G900M(Qualcomm)?

KeyID of SM-G900H is 0499 and it is different from other G900x phones. You can use Cert file of any G900x phone for SM-G900M, except of Cert files of SM-G900H.
