Welcome to Octoplus/Octopus Box Samsung software version 1.5.2

To connect GT-I9505 phone you have to perform the following steps:
1. Disconnect USB cable from phone.
2. Go to Menu->Settings->More->About Device.
3.Tap on "Builds numbers" 7 times to enable developer options.
4. Go to Menu->Settings->More->Developer options.
5. Turn on "USB Debugging" option.
6. Go to dial window.
7. Enter "*#0808#" number.
8. Select "DM+Modem+ADB".
9. Close window.
10. Go to dial window.
11. Enter "*#9090#" number.
12. Set "Diag config" to "USB" value.
13. Restart phone.
14. Press "Read Info" in software.

Please do the next:
1. Install the latest Software version (Octopus Box Downloads - Software, Drivers, Manual).
2. Write firmware with 4.4.2 Android version.
3. Root the device manually.
4. Disable KNOX.
5. Write firmware "GT-i9505_for_Unlock_and_IMEI_repair".
6. Repeat "Repair IMEI" operation.
7. Write here the result.

You sure there is no problem with 4.4.2?

I highly suggest DO NOT upgrade to 4.4.2 because you will have a lot of trouble and also trigger Knox as well. After 4.4.2 cannot even downgrade...

I have solved this same problem in I9505 whith these Steps:

1. Root the device manually whith "VRoot English", when instal the Update start, (4.3 is supported for root).
2. Disable KNOX.
3. Write firmware "GT-i9505_for_Unlock_and_IMEI_repair".
4. Read EFS and Security
5. Repeat "Repair IMEI" operation.
6. Not Disconnect device after reboot and ceck Imei
7. Insert Sim and if not have Signal, Use Repair 3G/4G
8. Write here the result.

WARNING, if you try to WIPE/FACTORY RESET lost signal, if change FW lost signal, is Patched metod, no definitive whith 4.3 version and Knox, so not change more fw, when repair imei is definitive you will can change fw w/o lost signal
