I437P Unlock solution or not? [Solved] - GSM-Forum

Hi

I search many time for correct answer for thiss phone but nothing,can Octopus Box unlock thiss phone if yes share solution.Thanks

Hello.
Octopus/Octoplus Box Samsung Software currently supports "Unlock" SGH-I437 (SGH-I437P was not tested, so we haven't added it to the list of supported devices). You can try connect your SGH-I437P as SGH-I437 (select SGH-I437 in list and select "Manul select" option in Software) and try to perform "Unlock" or "Read codes" operation.

To connect SGH-I437P phone you have to perform the following steps:
1. Disconnect USB cable from phone.
2. Go to Menu->Settings->Applications->Development.
3. Turn on "USB Debugging" option.
4. When message is appear press "Yes".
5. Go to dial window.
6. Enter "*#7284#" number.
7. Set "USB" radio button to "Modem" value.
8. Close window.
9. Go to dial window.
10. Enter "*#9090#" number.
11. Set "Diag config" to "USB" value.
12. Restart phone.
13. Press "Read Info" in software.

If the combination "*#9090#" doesn't work, try to type "*#8080#" to access Qualcomm Settings.

Whats different i437 between i437P,can i flash with i437 firmware from Octopus Box support,after thiss to try to unlock?

Currently we haven't SGH-I437P in our hands, we haven't tested it and can't say to You exactly, whether there will not be any problems with the device after You write firmware for SGH-I437. You can do this for your own risk.

For that i ask you bro,i know model which are supported with Octopus Box are very safe to flash,but i see i437P its not in list,i leave it bro.Thanks for quick answer.

Sucessfull Unlocked I437P,Thanks for support Octopus Box but need direct unlock bcz i do many trick to unlock thiss phone,very hard right now to unlock but Done.

1.Flash with Octopus Box firmware of I437,sure i have lose Wi-Fi and thiss need to focuse everytime to fix wi-fi problem,dont forget to Wipe Factory Reset in Recovery mode after flash with Octopus Box.

2.Update bootloader with thiss software Express-OUDHS-CWM

3.Unlock with Box

4.If you want to solve Wi-Fi problem,lets install thiss rom cm-10.2-20130831-UNOFFICIAL-expressatt.zip from SD Card,sure after root with UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.25.zip

5.Install gapps-jb-20130813-signed.zip from SD Card for some required apps in android phones.

I437P Unlocked working well now 4.3 version and full signal.
