Hello.

Try to make Factory Reset. Try to reflash the phone. If problem will remain - You can try to process the phone via UART.

If I reflash the phone with lower version I get huge yellow triangle that says that I should go to Verizon because i have unautorised software and then i have to reflash to its current version to back the phone to life. I am doing this because on lower versions the codes should work but they removed that feature in later ones.

Unfortunately it is not always possible to downgrade phone firmware version. Try to reflash the phone with "i535vrudne1_i535vzwdne1_vzw_android_4.4.2" firmware from the Support Area.

Reflashing does not help here as 4.4.2. does not have codes enabled. Even *#06# is not working on this version.

Try to enter *#22745927 code. If menu will open - select Hidden Menu, select Enabled and press OK. Check whether other codes work after these actions.

Follow these steps, I have a Verizon I535 with Kitkat 4.4.2.

1. Download TowelRoot.
2. Enable Install from Unknown Sources
3. Install TowelRoot, install regardless of the warnings.
4. Install SuperSU from the Google store
You now have root access.
5. Install ES File Explorer from Google Play.
6. In ES File Explorer goto Settings->Tools
7. Turn on Root Explorer
8. Turn on Show Hidden Files
9. Use ES File Explorer to find /efs/Carrier/HiddenMenu
10. Open this file as text using ES Note Editor.
11. In the upper right corner of ES Note Editor select the menu icon then select EDIT
12. Change the text OFF to ON
13. Exit and save the file.
14. Reboot and then try the codes. The service test screen is *#0*#.
