1. Disconnect USB cable from phone. 
2. Go to Menu->Settings->Applications->Development.
3. Turn on "USB Debugging" option.
4. When message is appear press "Yes".
5. Go to dial window.
6. Enter "*#7284#" number.
7. Set "UART" radio button to "PDA" value.
8. Go to "Qualcomm USB Settings".
9. Select "DM+Modem+ADB".
10. Press Home button.
11. Go to dial window.
12. Enter "*#9090#" number.
13. Set "Diag config" to "UART" value.
14. Restart phone.
15. Press "Read Info" in software.

Hello.

You have not connected the device correctly. To connect SGH-I747M, perform the following steps:

1. Disconnect USB cable from phone.
2. Go to Menu->Settings->Applications->Development.
3. Turn on "USB Debugging" option.
4. When message is appear press "Yes".
5. Go to dial window.
6. Enter "*#7284#" number.
7. Set "UART" radio button to "PDA" value.
8. Go to "Qualcomm USB Settings".
9. Select "DM+Modem+ADB".
10. Press Home button.
11. Go to dial window.
12. Enter "*#9090#" number.
13. Set "Diag config" to "UART" value.
14. Restart phone.
15. Press "Read Info" in software.

how to read codes or unlock?

You devcie has new security type, currently it is impossible to read codes in this device. Try to make Direct Unlock. Don't forget to read out Security, EFS and QCN backups.

To read QCN, You should connect (configure) the phone correctly. To connect SGH-I747, perform the following steps:

1. Disconnect USB cable from phone.
2. Go to Menu->Settings->More->About Device.
3.Tap on "Build number" 7 times to enable developer options.
4. Go to Menu->Settings->More->Developer options.
5. Turn on "USB Debugging" option.
6. Go to dial window.
7. Enter "*#0808#" number.
8. Select "DM+Modem+ADB".
9. Press Home button.
10. Go to dial window.
11. Enter "*#7284#" number.
12. Set "UART" to "PDA" value.
13. Restart phone.
14. Press "Read Info" at the "Main" tab in the Software.

When phone's info will be read out from the "Main" tab in the Software, make Read QCN.
