dear sir,
i have problem with I8160. it is always unlock . i rooted according to help but still same . version is 2.3.6 gingerbread.
pls help me to solve this problem?

What is the problem exactly? Please explain the problem in more details, step by step. Also, please post here full software log with all of your actions.

exactly problem with I8160 unlock.
version is android 2.3.6,
Baseband I8160xxlk6
kernel version 2.6.35.7- I8160XXLD8-CL1100997
se.infra@SEI-28#2
SMP PREEMPT Tue Apr 24 05:35:29 KST
build number
GINGERBREAD.XXLK6.
I WANT UNLOCK ABOVE PHONE.

To connect GT-I8160 phone you have to perform the following steps:
1. Disconnect USB cable from phone.
2. Go to Menu->Settings->Applications->Development.
3. Turn on "USB Debugging" option.
4. When message is appear press "Yes".
5. Go to dial window.
6. Enter "*#7284#" number.
7. Set "UART" radio button to "Modem" value.
7. Set "USB" radio button to "Modem" value.
8. Restart phone.
9. Press "Read Info" in software.

Please, disconnect all devices from PC, except your GT-I8160, which You want to unlock, and repeat the operation.
