i9300 imei 00499 [Solved] - GSM-Forum

after upgrading to 4.2.2. imei 00499 ..
can not rewrite the original imei phone I did all the steps.

1. Install the latest Software version (Software).
2. Make Repair EFS.
3. Re-flash the phone.
4. Make Factory data reset and wipe cache partition.
5. Root the phone.
6. Make Repair IMEI. To finish the "Repair IMEI" operation, restart the phone via phone's menu (via "Power on" button on the phone, don't disconnect the battery, this is important).
7. Write here the result.

Try to do the next:

1. Re-flash the phone to repair baseband.
2. Make Repair EFS.
3. Root the phone.
4. Write one of the Services IMEIs from the Software list.
5. Re-flash the phoen again.
6. Check IMEI.
7. Post here full Software log with all of these actions and say the result.

Also, root the phone, select GT-I9500 model in the Software list, select (mark) "Manual select" option in the Software and try to write IMEI Certificate from the Support Area.

If the problem is the same, most likely, your device has HW issue.

Try write modem part,to get into any imei.
My opinion,why are giving wrong details of imei and serial,probably changed lcd with other imei on it.

no, did the whole procedure, written with 4 firmware boot file, pda, csc ect .. imei 00499
modem ok,, written imei imei original file in the list and always result imei 00499

If the problem is the same, most likely, your device has HW issue.
