i9300 no network after IMEI repair

Customer flashed the phone at home, he cant tell me the procedure, in short he killed the imei 0044 etc.

I flashed this from support: I9300BUALE6_I9300VFGALE6_I9300BUALE6_HOME.oct

Then i rooted the phone with:
GT-I9300_Root.oct

IMEI successfully repaired.

log.rar - 4shared.com - online file sharing and storage - download

BUT No network, only SOS.

Phone see networks but can't registering to network.

Maybe is a stupid question, but after repairing IMEI and inserted the SIM you have wayted 5-10 minutes to register on the network?
Try even to full hard reset with *2767*3855#
And if this dosen't work you can try I9300XXBLG8 firmware from UK, root again and repair IMEI again.
I have seen on the forum that not always repairing works from the first time

Hello.
Try to do the next:
1. Make Repair EFS.
2. Write firmware from the support area.
3. Root the phone.
4. Repair IMEI again.

Is the phone fully Unlocked? Try to Unlock the phone and then make Repair IMEI.

Same problem after unlock and repair imei. I repeated the whole procedure:
1. Flash fw from support
2. Flash root from support
3. unlock
4. repair imei

And the retry
1. repair efs
2. reflash
3. root
4. repair imei

No solution still now.

I think better it will be: flash -> root -> repair efs -> repair IMEI
But anyway strange problems you have.

I dont believe it was a problem with the SIM reader slot. The customers card cutted very badly and dont fit in the slot, maybe damaged the slot. Our "hardware guy" repaired the pins and now works. It was strange i tried with 3 different SIM cards. Phone see the card but cant read it correctly. Sorry
for wasting your time.

Thank you and

Best Regards,

Maybe Octopus had been wrong deleting your post, but you have to know that many others repaired many I9300 without problems. And SPT was World First in "repairing" IMEI I9300 in to 0044999.... if you know what I mean.
So take it easy with SPT.

And here was not Octopus Box fault, it was a SIM problem.
