I9505 network problem!!!


dear octopus,

i am facing problem with i9505 (the mobile is unlocked) ...before i was able to connect to the both networks in my country but now i can do for only one !!

any ideas ???

Welcome to Octoplus/Octopus Box Samsung software version 1.4.6

To connect GT-I9505 phone you have to perform the following steps:
1. Disconnect USB cable from phone.
2. Go to Menu->Settings->More->About Device.
3.Tap on "Builds numbers" 7 times to enable developer options.
4. Go to Menu->Settings->More->Developer options.
5. Turn on "USB Debugging" option.
6. Go to dial window.
7. Enter "*#0808#" number.
8. Select "DM+Modem+ADB".
9. Close window.
10. Go to dial window.
11. Enter "*#9090#" number.
12. Set "Diag config" to "USB" value.
13. Restart phone.
14. Press "Read Info" in software.

Hello.
Please try make "Repair NVM" and check, whether network is available (active). If this will not help - try to perform "Unlock" operation and post here the result.

As You can see from this Software log, your device is not connected correctly:

Ar first, You need to connect the device correctly (phone's info should be read).


To connect GT-I9505 phone you have to perform the following steps:
1. Disconnect USB cable from phone.
2. Go to Menu->Settings->More->About Device.

4. Go to Menu->Settings->More->Developer options.
5. Turn on "USB Debugging" option.
6. Go to dial window.

When phone's info will be read correctly, to unlock the device do the next:
1. Write firmware "For_Unlock_and_IMEI_Repair_GT-I9505.oct" fom the Support Area from the folder "Samsung/FOR UNLOCK AND REPAIR/".
2. Root the device, as this is written in Software manual again.
3. Make "Unlock".
4. Post here full Software log with all of your actions.

i am realy very thankful for your fast reply!!!

dear octopus i am facing problem with *#9090# menu...when i dial the combination, the menu will pop up but with empty page !!!

i am on 4.3 android !!!

Please try to write firmware "I9505XXUEMI8_I9505OXAEMI8_I9505XXUEMI8_OXA_Androi d_4.3.oct" from the Support Area and then perform steps 1-14 to connect the device once again.
