Bienvenido a la Octoplus/Octopus Box Samsung software version

Para conectar el telefono SM-J500M haga siguientes pasos:
1. Desconecte el cable USB del telefono.
2. Ingrese al Menu->Ajustes->Mas->Acerca del dispositivo.
3.Pulse el boton "Numero de dispositivo (Build number)" 7 veces para
activar opciones de desarrollo.
4. Ingrese al Menu->Ajustes->Mas->Opciones de desarrollo.
5. Habilite la opcion "depuracion USB".
6. Abra la ventana de marcacion del numero.
7. Ingrese el numero "*#0808#".
8. Seleccione "DM+Modem+ADB".
9. Presione el boton "Home".
10. Presione el boton "Lectura de informacion" en el software.

Hello.

To connect the phone via UART, You need to block highlighted pin with a tape/paper and use Samsung C3300k/C3303k micro UART cable with 525-530kOm resistor for connection.

To connect SM-J500M phone you have to perform the following steps:
1. Disconnect USB cable from phone.
2. Go to Menu->Settings->More->About Device.
3.Tap on "Build number" 7 times to enable developer options.
4. Go to Menu->Settings->More->Developer options.
5. Turn on "USB Debugging" option.
6. Go to dial window.
7. Enter "*#0808#" number.
8. Select "DM+Modem+ADB".
9. Press Home button.
10. Press "Read Info" in software.

Try to reinstall FTDI drivers (http://octoplusbox.com/files/drivers...rs_2.08.24.zip). Try to use another Samsung C3300k/C3303k micro UART cable with 525-530kOm resistor for connection. Also You can try to use another box as UART interface.
