n9005 unknown baseband.. - GSM-Forum

i have sm-n9005

i wish to update 4.3 to 4.4.2
but it give fails
then i flash it with pit 32 gb
after flash it give memory error .i reset it and then it turns on but now baseband is unknown and imei null

any idea what to do?

This means phone's firmware is damaged or is unsuitable for your device. Try to re-flash the phone with other firmwares.

It is impossible to say, which firmware will help to solve the problem, try to write different, one by one and check.

there are lot of firmwares.
can i flash it with octopus firmwares or with odin?

You can try to write via any tool You have. Try to write the latest firmwares, don't downgrade the firmware version, this can damage your device.

Try with writing only this Modem after flash full fw: CP-modem-NE6 have solved 3 devices with Baseband Unknown flashing this.
Flash After has flashed other full fw, NOT flash N9005XXUGNG1

and if i flash 3 files.after that write this modem or overwrite this modem to fw modem?

i have write this modem file but nothing happens.
can i write some specific firmware for this file and if yes then plz specify me firmware . and also mention firmware with 3 files or 1 file

Can flash only this CP(Modem), after write any fw, no FW Downgrade, same version you had first 4.4.2 NO 4.3.

If have Multifile Fw is more good, if not have also Home.tar fw can use.

No, you write you 3 file Fw after that flash other time with 3.9 Odin only CP field, (modem)
This is when partition are been damaged from wrong flash fw, in 3 device has worked, cannot know if can solve you problem but is one attempt.

I've posted link in anyside of this forum, not remember where now.

If not has worked also with one package, try to EFS repair, but OCTOPUS not support, for the moment, this option so or try with another box or wait for Update Octopus team,

Yup... yes Octopus Support, this option is very important for many device and i have seen that Bad box have this option active and can repair also Unnknown BB/Imei only writing this Defaul EFS...thank you for this New

P.d. Please NOT forgot solution for Last Samsung Fw that not permitte 3G/4G with "IMEI CERT FAIL"
