N900w8 Emergency Call only - GSM-Forum

After unlock phone is showing emergency call only ..

Repaired different imei several times ..

Firmware tried both Trinidad & also canadian rogers 4.4.2

Repaired NVM manually but still emergency .. sometimes shows carrier name & some time not .

maybe there is bug in octopus software ???

Try to write more another services's IMEIs from the Software list, then make Repair NVM and Repair 3G/4G. If the network is still unavailable - maybe, these service's IMEIs are in the black list of your operator.

Nope ... same imei works on N9005 but not working on N900W8

Bro just flash the modem 4.3 Rogers n900w8 through Odin that's it it will perfictly if u couldn't find it email me I will send it to u

Exactly You have to drop the modem. Don't blame the box if you don't know what you're doing. 4.4.2 will block the IMEI certificate. It only passes if you put the modem of 4.3

i had tried both firmware ... Trinidad & Rogers 4.4.2 ..

i have read the octopus section for past weeks & not 1 place there is written to downgrade the modem to work .,,,

I have the same issue.. It was successful on N900t (T-mobile note 3) but it is not working on N900w8. The service IMEI does not get connected to network even though it is a Clean IMEI in the netowrk database. I just spend 200$ to upgrade to Octopus box and it is useless. The poster above said to downgrade from 4.4.2 to 4.3. HOW CAN YOU DO THAT WITHOUT BRICKING YOUR PHONE?? I KNOW IT WILL BREAK THE WIFI AND SOME OTHER COMPONENT
