If phone still requests an unlock code - try to enter 00000000, 11111111 and 12345678 codes.

Unfortunately those codes aren't working

I rooted it with Odin and CF-Auto-Root-trelte-treltexx-smn910c.tar.md5

It didn't ask to deactivate Knox

During unlocking I confirmed access both times and the software said the phone is unlocked

Am I doing something wrong?

.

If none of these are working you will need to flash the phone with another firmware version, totally different from the one on the phone... Then repeat the whole process again.

Please upload the following files to any file-sharing service:
1. Security backup of the phone. You can make a backup via "Read Security" operation.
2. *.log and *.logx files of performed operations. Files can be found in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Octoplus\Octoplus_Samsung\LOG" folder.

Post here download link for these 3 files and we will check what causes the problem.

Please reflash the phone with "N910CXXS2DPL2_N910COJV2DPJ1_KSA_Android_6.0.1 " firmware from the Support Area, then repeat "Unlock" operation. Post here the result.

In the advance write mode do not flash the hidden part... Just the others! Phone suppose to boot up normally.... I've faced this type of error with some phones and it so far it has worked fine...

Please perform "Write Firmware" operation again, with enabled "Advanced Mode" option. Un-check "HIDDEN" partition during the process, then proceed with the operation.
