N910T Write Cert problem


i am having a problem writing cert also. wheni write cer vis usb software says please reset msl first writing certificate failed. and when i try to reset msl it says operation was failed. however i wrote cert on another sm-n910t without reseting msl and it worked. any ideas team?

Hello.

Problem which You've discribed is most likely caused by new Security Type. This problem with SM-N910T is under research at the moment.

Please upload first Security backup of the phone, which You have to any file-sharing service. Also, please upload *.log and *.logx files of performed operations. Post here download links for these files - we will add them to research.
*.log and *.logx files can be found in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Octoplus\Octoplus_Samsung\LOG" folder.

The weird thing was, the one I did successfully wrote cert has the same firmware and everything. But here are the logs.

It appears that this new SW version cant be unlocked by octoplus at all. I tried to perform an unlock operation to give you security backup file and its not backing up at all.

To connect SM-N910T phone you have to perform the following steps:
1. Disconnect USB cable from phone.
2. Go to Menu->Settings->More->About Device.
3.Tap on "Build number" 7 times to enable developer options.
4. Go to Menu->Settings->More->Developer options.
5. Turn on "USB Debugging" option.
6. Go to dial window.
7. Enter "*#0808#" number.
8. Select "DM+Modem+ADB".
9. Press Home button.
10. Restart phone.
11. Press "Read Info" in software.

As we already posted previously, this problem is most likely caused by new Security Type. We are researching the problem at the moment and will inform You about possible solution.
