Try to do the next: 1. Fully charge phone's battery. 2. Make Factory data reset and wipe cache partition. 3. Root the phone and make Wipe Security several times and check, whether IMEI becomes "Unknown". Also try to re-flash the phone with different firmwares and make Wipe Security. 4. When the IMEI becomes "Unknown", Write Certificate. Member: 1564612 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 12,345 | Hello, have posted very many times that if not wipe security at first time, (Imei Null/Unknown must be), try with Factory reset and Wipe Cache from recovery Manually, not import if disconnect device from cable or pc, then try other time wiping security and this time have wiped with success, now can write Cert file w/o problem BR allumts |

Member: 2076039 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 648 | For the S5, the solution is to root, pull battery, throw it back in, wipe efs. It works 100% of the time for me. No need to wipe data or cache. For the Note 4 And Note Edge models you must write the stock recovery and cache back to the device. A data/cache wipe won't work here either. PS. I do not have any cache+recovery files. You must either download them from the support area or make your own using the instructions found in 1000 different threads on this forum. |
