doesn anyone use a surface pro 3 for their unlock/Imei operations?ive tried using my surface with the octopus pus box and it wont work.software keeps asking for phone to be set on usb debugging,even doe it already is.octopus box is connected directly on to the surface and phone is connected on to the octobox via usb.im force to do this due to the fact that my surface pro 3 only has one ubs port.

software detects and reads the phone,i can also write firmware on to the phones.but when I try to direct unlock or Imei repair,software keeps asking for phone to be put in usb debugging mode.

yes do u have any doubt ...

you have to perform the following steps:
1. Disconnect USB cable from phone.
2. Go to Menu->Settings->Applications->Development.
3. Turn on "USB Debugging" option.

Better use PC with more than 3 USB ports.

Hello.

In order to perform operations, which require connection via Diagnostic port, phone should be connected directly to PC.
In general it is recommended to connect the phone directly to USB port of PC motherboard for all operations, which require connection via USB.

what are the usb ports on the octopusbox for?can i use a splitter or some type of usb hub?

Phone should be connected directly to PC motherboard USB port. Don't use any kind of USB hubs for connection.
