I have N7105 note II android version 4.3 baseband version unknown ,imei null.How come mobogenie software easily connect with this fone with the same required settings as described while the Octopus software fails.Can you look into that.And even to stop the software its a hustle in winxp

"Baseband: unknown" means modem part is damaged in your device. This can be Software (modem firmware is damaged or You have written unsuitable firmware) or HW problem.

At first, try re-flash the device with different firmwares and check, whether modem is correct (baseband is not Unknown) and only then (when phone's modem part will be correct) try to perform "Repair IMEI" operation. It is not possible to repair IMEI, if phone's modem part is damaged.
