Octopus team, i need your help!


OK, so my UART is not functioning, I'm almost 100% sure that I've installed the drivers correctly. I've also installed the box correctly, and I'm pretty sure of that because the USB method is fine. When I plug in the UART cable into the phone, it does begin to charge, so I know the cables are fine. I'm just not comprehending how to get it started. I have dialed *#0*# before plugging it in, and I have also installed the ftdibus and ftdiport to the computer's device manager. PLEASE OCTOPUS TEAM, Remote Control my computer via Ammmyy and resolve this issue!

Hello.

What phone are You trying to process via UART cable exactly? Are You using Samsung C3300k/C3303k micro UART cable with 525-530kOm resistor for connection?

Please post here full Software log of all operations, which You've tried to perform with the phone.

I cannot connect to the phone, and yes i am using the ORIGINAL octopus cables for the phone. SM-G900T will not connect. PLEASE take remote control and setup the UART for me.

The phone should initially be connected via micro USB cable directly to PC. If connection via UART will be required - Software will prompt about it.

Note: In order to connect the phone via UART, You need to block highlighted pin with a tape/paper and use Samsung C3300k/C3303k micro UART cable with 525-530kOm resistor for connection.
