problem to unlock I9506


hi

in manual i need to root phone but in support i dont see root

without root

Try to use VRoot, Impactor, Kingo Root Software from the Support Area.

Welcome to Octoplus/Octopus Box Samsung software version 1.4.3

To connect GT-I9505 phone you have to perform the following steps:
1. Disconnect USB cable from phone.
2. Go to Menu->Settings->More->About Device.
3.Tap on "Builds numbers" 7 times to enable developer options.
4. Go to Menu->Settings->More->Developer options.
5. Turn on "USB Debugging" option.
6. Go to dial window.
7. Enter "*#0808#" number.
8. Select "DM+Modem+ADB".
9. Close window.
10. Go to dial window.
11. Enter "*#9090#" number.
12. Set "Diag config" to "USB" value.
13. Restart phone.
14. Press "Read Info" in software.

Please do the next:
1. Close the Software.
2. Delete all files from the folder "c:\Program Files\Octoplus\Octoplus_Samsung\LOG\".
3. Run the Software.
4. Make NVN backup ("Read NVM" button).
5. Make Security backup ("Read Security" button).
6. Make EFS backup ("Read EFS" button).
7. Perform "Unlock" operation.
8. Close the Software.
9. Upload somewhere "*.log" and "*.logx" files from the folder "c:\Program Files\Octoplus\Octoplus_Samsung\LOG\", upload backups of EFS, Security and NVN and post here links, we will research where can be the problem.
