Hello.

"Mode: Emergency" means that the phone was not connected to PC correctly.

To connect the phone via Micro USB cable, do the next:

1. Disconnect Micro USB cable from phone
2. Go to Menu->Settings->Applications->Development
3. Turn on "USB Debugging" option
4. When message is appear press "Yes"
5. Go to dial window
6. Enter "*#7284#" number
7. Set "USB" radio button to "MODEM" value
8. Go to "Qualcomm USB Settings"
9.Select "DM+Modem+ADB"
10. Close window
11. Go to dial window
12. Enter "*#9090#" number
13. Set "Diag config" to "USB" value
14. Restart the phone.
15. Connect the phone dirrectly to PC.
16. Press "Read Info" in Octopus Samsung software

If the phone not connect via Micro USB cable, try to connect it via Samsung Micro UART C3300k/C3303k cable.
