I am a phone n00be and am just beginning to learn to use the OctoPlus Box. That being said, I cannot get it to work with any phones I have:


(2) SM-G935V
(1) SM-G930V
(1) SM-G900V


- Octoplus Box Samsung software version 2.6.9
- Samsung USB Driver for Mobile Phones:
- v1.5.45.0
- v1.5.65.0


- SMART CARD FIRMWARE updated:

- "Developer options" activated
- "USB debugging" on

- Completely different computers (both Win10 64-bit, fully updated)
- Compatibility mode: Admin, Win7
- Tried with all phones (previously listed)
- All available Options COM ports in software



No matter what is attempted, this is always the Read info result for any phone used:

Question: Is there a test / diagnostic program or procedure for testing the OctoPlus Box?


I have tried everything I can think of. Please help.

Here is some ways, you can try to fix it....Before try wit Octopus, install Minimal Adb, Open command and type “Adb Devices” nd check that you’re pc recognise ur device as Adb port, or Not.?2nd try, close all background apps which Auto ON after connect any Adb device, like kies,Hisuite...eg.
Before connect device wit pc,Go to task manager and check if u found any Adb process than kill it.
Make sure that u installed latest nd well Samsung Driver...after connect device check it, that it is connected or Not under Device Manger ...
If need than Disable driver signature, if ur wit 64bit system...

What is required to install the Octoplus Box?


I only installed the Samsung USB drivers and the Octoplus Box software.


Am I supposed to install some other drivers also?


I have seen comments about installing SMART CARD drivers/software, which I never installed before, or know which ones to install.


Also, isn't there some installation instructions somewhere? I cannot find an "installation manual" for this Octoplus Box I have. If I knew HOW I was supposed to install it, and what software and drivers were needed, it seems like this would be simple.

I installed the ADB drivers and when I run at the command prompt, I get this:

So.... what does unauthorized mean? This phone had a bad IMEI (not for payment or billing issues), and I paid $80 to have it "cleaned". When I check the IMEI on swappa dot com, it now says it's fine (it was not fine before the cleaning).

I get that UNLESS I connect my old SM-G900V, then I don't get that error.
