S4 Active SGH-I537 IMEI Failed Write NVM Failed [Solved] - GSM-Forum

Octopus

I have a properly connected S4 active direct unlock failed after reboot it gave me a 0049 IMEI and it will not restore the NVM backup or rewrite a new IMEI.

Phone is rooted and I have cleared logs and old backups and it still will not rewrite it.

Phone is on 4.4.2

Try to re-flash the phone, make Factory data reset and repeat the operation again. Post here the result.

There is no Odin firmware for NE3 at the moment I checked everywhere XDA, Sammobile the only thing that exists is an OTA. I Did do a hard reset and I am still getting the exact same errors

Currently we also haven't got Andriod 4.4.2 firmware for this device.

SOLVED : Flashed the MF3 Modem and successfully unlocked and repaired the IMEI
