To connect GT-I8262 phone you have to perform the following steps:
1. Disconnect USB cable from phone.
2. Go to Menu->Settings->More->About Device.
3.Tap on "Builds numbers" 7 times to enable developer options.
4. Go to Menu->Settings->More->Developer options.
5. Turn on "USB Debugging" option.
6. Go to dial window.
7. Enter "*#0808#" number.
8. Select "DM+Modem+ADB".
9. Close window.
10. Go to dial window.
11. Enter "*#9090#" number.
12. Set "Diag config" to "USB" value.
13. Restart phone.
14. Press "Read Info" in software.
Selected firmware file: GT-I8262_for_IMEI_Repair.oct
Please switch your phone to the download mode and connect it to a
PC.
To put GT-I8262 phone into download mode you have to perform the
following steps:
1. Reconnect phone battery.
2. Press and hold "Volume - " + "Home" + "Power" buttons.
3. When phone turns on press "Volume+" button.

bro after checking root. when it repair networks, it is saying imei write failed. allow superuser to get access.. dont now why this happening...

This means You have not rooted the phone correctly or SU app is not running. Root the phone, install the SU app and run it from phone's menu, then accept all requests on phone's screen.

but i used root checker to check root and i got positiv... phon s rooted... but bro i didnt flashed that gt- I8262_for_IMEI_Repair_2 oct file...

bro imei repair succesfull. but ... not registered on netork problem.. operator is showing its name... but while calling it is saying not registered on network.... .....and wgen im selecting network manualy it is registering on network

plz bro, suggest me what to do,,, as suggested in octopus box help section i also did imei repair again,, but still facing same problem....

Do the next:

1. Install the latest Software version (Software).
2. Take out SIM and SD cards from the phone.
3. Make Factory data reset.
4. Write the special firmware again.
5. Make Repair NVN.
6. Make Repair IMEIs.
7. Insert SIM card, wait 5-7 minutes and try find to select network manually.
8. Post here full Software log with all of your actions (or upload somewhere and send us link to PM) and say the result.

phone SN is coming 0000000..........

i did repair nvm nd imei again as u told... but again.. after restart it shows the operator name (vodafone IN) but ... when i dial any number a dialog window poped up with msg .. not registered on network.... and when i m selecting network manually its saying no service,,,



and i repaired the same imei comes with phone.... help plzz

bro... i m doing same... but SN+imei field is not activated in octopus window... it is 0000000... i m so confused.. not getting the proper solution
