You should try, but in most cases You need to use Samsung Micro UART C3300k/C3303k cable.

Same here. Any ideas? I've tried with a USB cable, and the micro UART cable, and nothing.

If phone's firmware doesn't allow to select any option in menu "*#9090#", try to connect the phone via Micro USB cable. Also try to re-flash the phone with another firmware and try to connect it via Samsung Micro UART and Micro USB cables again; maybe, "*#9090#" items will be available after of writing another firmware.
