hi, I have Samsung s4. After replace screen and update software, now phone says "no sim inserted". Imei and serial is ok. But if I choose to repair with octopus :

I've already try to change sim card and microsd reader..

Hello.

"Mode: Emergency" means that phone is not configured correctly for connection. Carefully perform all of the following steps:
1. Disconnect USB cable from phone.
2. Go to Menu->Settings->More->About Device.
3.Tap on "Build number" 7 times to enable developer options.
4. Go to Menu->Settings->More->Developer options.
5. Turn on "USB Debugging" option.
6. Go to dial window.
7. Enter "*#0808#" number.
8. Select "DM+Modem+ADB".
9. Press Home button.
10. Go to dial window.
11. Enter "*#9090#" number.
12. Set "Diag config" to "DM/DUM over HS-USB" value.
13. Restart phone.
14. Connect the phone directly to PC.
15. Press "Read Info" in software.

thanks for fast reply, however I have made all these step correctly, I have also root.. But Emergency mode and there is message no sim inserted..

What is the firmware Android version in your device now exactly?

The problem is that he says no sim inserted. I've tried with several sim, imei and serial are presents.. I've tried to wipe and reflash this firmware.. But still in emergency mode for my box.. And the main problem is no sim..

This means You have not configured the phone correctly and it doesn't answer to Software's CMDs (requests). Perform steps 1-15 once again and try to connect. Try to select COM port manually.

Also read out phone's info via ADB (turn on USB Debugging Mode in the phone and press "Read info" button at "Android / EFS manager" tab in the Software) and post here full Software log with this info.

the only strange thing is that when I enter in menu with *#9090# and select Diag config" to "USB" value, there is the *, but if I press on appear for one second error and phone restart itself..

Re-flash the phone with another firmware, make Factory data reset, wipe cache partition and try to configure the phone again.

Have You written the special firmware "GT-i9505_for_Unlock_and_IMEI_repair" before repairing IMEI? Please perform all steps from the Software manual ("Help" button in the Software) to make Repair IMEI, and post here full Software log with all of them.

Please perform all steps from the Software manual ("Help" button in the Software) to make Repair IMEI, and post here full Software log with all of them.
