samsung s5830 strange problem - GSM-Forum

i have a samsung s5830..when i press lock button phone turned off.. with in 20 or 10 sec press lock button again it work perfectly.But after 20 sec press lock button phone not respond..when trying to turn on phone nothing happens..But restore battery it works..is this hardware or software problm?
plss help...

this model is hugo boss edition.any difference between this edition and s5830?

No there are not any diferences betwen S5830 and Hugo Boss edition. You need to try diferent firmware flash until you find one which works ok.
I9100 has the same problem or I9300 with some firmwares, when you press power buton, no menu apears, only ON and OFF.

i found the real problem..when the display going to black i mean screen timeout or lock then phone not respond...

this is hardware or software problem?

i flashd 4 times with different files but problem not solved..

here is the log

To connect GT-S5830 phone you have to perform the following steps:
1. Disconnect USB cable from phone.
2. Go to Menu->Settings->Applications->Development.
3. Turn on "USB Debugging" option.
4. When message is appear press "Yes".
5. Go to dial window.
6. Enter "*#9090#" number.
7. Set "Diag config" to "USB" value.
8. Restart phone.
9. Press "Read Info" in Octopus Samsung software.
Selected firmware file: S5830 LUX S5830XWKPO.oct
Please put your phone in download mode and connect to PC.
To put GT-S5830 phone into download mode you have to perform the
following steps:
1. Reconnect phone battery.
2. Press and hold "Volume-" +"Power"+''Home" buttons.
Searching for phone. Please wait...

i noticed one thing when usb cable or charger connected to phone and press lock button or screen timeout after that press lock button again it works perfectly...

is this hardware problem?

You flashed 3 firmwares I think... with every one you have problems with the lock screen?

yes..i flashed 4 firmwares with octopus and one firmware with odin...

Most likely, this is HW problem. Also You can try to find another firmwares and write tham.
