Samsung SM-N910T issue

I did the repair / wipe security and I am trying to write a certificate to the device but it keeps failing. I blocked the battery's contact during the wipe security and during the write cert step.. Do I need to unblock it during the write cert step?

Try to perform "Wipe Security EFS" procedure via phone's menu:
1. Reflash the phone with any firmware (don't root the phone after, this is important!).
2. Type *#9090#.
3. Type at rigth corner MENU + select "Back".
4. Typy at rigth corner MENU + input Q.
5. Type at rigth croner MENU + input 0000.

That didn't work either.. I also rebooted my PC and connected the Octopus Box to a different usb port. Does the battery port have to be covered during the wipe process and write cert process or just the 1st one?

You should block battery's proper contact only when You want to Write Cert when You connect the phone via Samsung Micro UART cable.

This should fix your phone.... as flashing stock recovery and cache will allow you to wipe efs... you can use the *#0011# Diag menu to wipe efs as well.... followed by rooting it.... or don't root and cover battery terminal and using UART write the cert to the phone.... However, to write Qcn you would need to use USB.

Hopefully this will help..

If after "Wipe Security" operation phone's IMEI remains the same - reflash the phone with any firmware and don't root the phone after, this is important!

After reflashing perform "Wipe Security EFS" procedure via phone's menu:
1. Type *#9090#.
2. Type at rigth corner MENU + select "Back".
3. Typy at rigth corner MENU + input Q.
4. Type at rigth croner MENU + input 0000.

If after "Wipe Security EFS" procedure via phone's menu IMEI remains the same - currently no solution for such phones.
