Samsung T959 Unlock question [Answered] - GSM-Forum

Octoplus is unable to root this phone in order to unlock. I have tried several other rooting programs with no luck.

Any suggestions?

Hello.

Software can automatically root this device with an old firmware version (with Android 2.2). If You can't find root for your device, You can try to downgrade phone's firmware (write older firmware version), perform the "Unlock" operation and then write higher firmware version.

Please re-flash the phone with firmware "T959UVKA6.oct" from the Support Area and try to make Unlock/Read Codes again. Post here the result.

Unfortunately, we don't have another root for this device at the moment. If You can't find root for this device, You can try to unlock this phonne via Octoplus Samsung Factory Unlock Service (operation is not free and require Octoplus Credits).
