Member: 2162605 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 3 | Clippy165 could please explain the setting you entered in the phone, because doesn't matter what I do and what setting I chose in the phone I always get unknown device. the only way I am able to connect to the box and read the info when I enter *#7284# and set "USB" Radio button to "MODEM" value and "DM/DUM over HS-USB". but when I try to repair the IMEI I get this message : Proper android device not found. Make Shure that "USB debug" option on the device is turned on. Write IMEI failed even when I change the model to sgh-t889, so please explain the steps for the setting in the phone. your second mistake, you are changing the mode of the usb in *#7284# menu, do not do this under | UART | leave it checked to PDA ; under | USB | leave it checked on PDA aswell. Under qualcomm usb settings select | DM + MODEM + ADB | also make sure usb debugging option is checked. Step 3 dial *#9090# and check the first option DIAG CONFIG [1]DM/DUM over HS-USB[*] then phone will restart after select model sgh-t889 in samsung software and read info. if read successfully you have adb connection and usb debug good after read then you can make repair imei. if the above does not work i would advise upgrading the phone firmware to 4.3 | |
