ill ready repaired an m819n under 4.2.2
Just using oficial samsung Octopus suite
but manual select sgh-i527 model
*repair original imei
*repair NVM

To connect SGH-I527 phone you have to perform the following steps:
1. Disconnect USB cable from phone. 
2. Go to Menu->Settings->More->About Device.
3.Tap on "Build number" 7 times to enable developer options.
4. Go to Menu->Settings->More->Developer options.
5. Turn on "USB Debugging" option.
6. Go to dial window.
7. Enter "*#0808#" number.
8. Select "DM+Modem+ADB".
9. Press Home button.
10. Go to dial window.
11. Enter "*#9090#" number.
12. Set "Diag config" to "USB" value.
13. Restart phone.
14. Press "Read Info" in software.

if still have problems maybe for shoddy work, and inherited
always can use this file qcn restoration (qpst restoration file).
restore and then do the repair NVM with octopus ..
if still problem persists you can try the version i527m
100% full & checked

my samsung mega M819n can not go to recovery mode ...keep say recovery botting. and stock on logo...thanx
I did stock rom still the same

Try to write different firmwares. Also try to write custom recovery.
